How does it work?
This sensor, mounted on the helmet, automatically alerts your emergency contacts via app and SMS (free of charge) as well as other users of the Tocsen app in the vicinity immediately after a crash.
Fits any helmet: Simply stick the sensor to the hard shell of the helmet using the adhesive pad provided. Recommended positioning in the lower rear area of the helmet.
What is the Technology?
High-precision 3-axis accelerometer mounted on the helmet & free app available for iOS, and Android.
Why measure on the helmet? vs. Smartwatch
Measures where it matters: on the head, to detect direct impacts on the head and resulting unconsciousness. The measurement on the fixed surface of the helmet also provides precise sensor feedback.
